Not ready!

Category: Ordinary
Lucid: No
Hours of sleep: 8

I walked in to an aerobics convention and saw my name on the list of instructors for two classes.
Freakin' out I run to my boss to make sure that this is correct - she says I'm only suppose to have one class - and it's a class I've never had before - reggaeton aerobics.

With only two hours of preperation to go until class start I run off out of the building to fetch some music somewhere else... while running the dream fades out and I wake up in my bed - and my body and mind is totally stressed out over this - luckily it doesn't take long for me to snap back to reality and realize it was all just a dream. *phew*

Disappointing flexibility

Category: Supernatural
Lucid: No
Hours of sleep: 8

In real life I'm working my ass off to become as flexible as possible for my dancing - so it's really disappointing to wake up to realize that it was only a dream when I held my leg straight up in the air with my knee meeting the side of my head - one day - one day I tell yah!

Dreaming/lucid dreaming, as I've mentioned before, is used by some athletes to visualize and improve their techniques - like a javelin thrower would dream the perfect running technique into a throw - or a golf player would practice his swing - or, like I did, practice my tour en l'air (ballet jump) here.

In the dream world you are liberated from all physical laws of nature which makes you able to experience things in slow-motion, with little or no gravity and in a bigger or more concentrated form than in the real world.
